Frankly, I am disappointed with all of these suggestions.

The winner is/was:

Grilled cheese sandwich (Munster and Blue on potato bread)
Pickled Peperoncini
Dilled potato salad (no eggs)
Beer (It was something dark because it is still before Memorial Day and we are living in a society)

Desert was a scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with Vermont maple syrup and sprinkled with a pinch of organic, free range Mediterranean sea salt.

Followed by a nap.

Suggestions for Sunday lunch are still welcome, please try harder.

Since Saturday was a no organ day, for Sunday, I'd suggest that you go all out, with Cow cod soup for a starter, followed by Kangaroo testicles for the main course.

Sunday lunch: Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, potatoes, carrots & gravy with treacle sponge & custard for afters. PF if you want to be accepted as a true Canadian you will have to 'man up' a bit mate Smile

This Sunday am doing hamburgers made with pork sausage and ground chuck, grilled with mozzarella cheese, sauteed mushrooms and red onion on potato bread buns. Tater tots and green salad with homemade Ice Box cookies for dessert.

eeeeeeeeeuuuuuuu, olives?? gross. And fruit is not a dessert unless it is in syrup form added to ice cream or in a pie.

I thought of that but then it would just be Yastreb telling me to eat Vegemite soaked in beer for every meal of the day and then smear the leftovers on my chest to promote vitality.
