I found proof that a quasi legit (they are in legal trouble for doing robocalls in the US) medical alert company is working with a well known credit card phishing scam A.K.A. the $100 Walmart gift card scam.
(It technically is a form of advance fee fraud as well. You pay for something in advance that you will never get.)
