I screwed up in one of my bait, with my favorite lad yet, the very same who gave me not one, but to piggies!

I was supposeto send him a bank receipt, but instead of sending him one of my non working jpeg, i sent him a document I filled for another bait. Embarassed

Might as well had send him the link to a scambaiting web site. -_-

I was wondering why he wasn't replying anymore until I chekked my last emails... He is gonna be thought to rehook Sad

Oh! He probably won't even notice.

Sometimes, you can just pick up where you left off as if the whole mistake didn't happen. You can pretend that you never sent him what you did and just take up where you were before you made the mistake. It's like getting a Mulligan! Give it a try. What have you got to lose? If he ever asks about it, just ignore the question and don't even address it.

^ Yes, in this case, just telling him the "truth" may be the best option: you accidentally sent him something intended for another person you are doing business with. Then you can introduce a fake lad character into the bait, and all sorts of opportunities for fun will open up.

You were using the scanner at work because yours is broken and you accidentally attached one of your co-workers files. Oops. Here is the bank receipt (but don't actually attach anything). Oops again. This scanner at work is complicated and you don't really understand how to get. It to work properly. Didn't it attach the receipt?

rinse. Repeat. Good for at least a week of delays. Very Happy

That is what those of us here at Eater call an ASEM (Accidentally Sent E-Mail). bware has scored over 1000 piggies purposely using that very tactic. When a lad is worried that someone else might get *his* payment, he becomes a lot more pliable.

I do something similar, metamit. I have a file for each of my characters. I create a new document for every new bait that I take on and keep it in the
respective character's file. I just keep the doc open while the bait is still ongoing. I copy/paste all the emails that I exchange with the lad into his doc.
This makes it very easy to see what's going on at a glance -- especially since I'm usually baiting two to four at a time.
