Australia Test batsman Phillip Hughes has died aged 25, two days after being struck on the top of the neck by a ball during a domestic match in Sydney.
Australia team doctor Peter Brukner said he passed away in hospital, never regaining consciousness

I was so stunned and saddened to hear of this this morning.
Michael Schumaker was skiing and Jules Bianchi was driving in F1.... both sad and both dangerous pursuits.
You just wouldn't think it of Cricket. Apparently the Bowler is in a bad way blaming himself.... but it was just the freakest of freak accidents.
My thoughts go to his family.... just very very sad indeed. |
