My favorite part of that bait (there are many favorite parts!) was when Rev. Ben Dover was asked by the mugu when he (the Rev.) would arrive in Abeche to rescue the mugu.

Answer: he had been delayed because he was teaching his camel, Scooby Doo, how to play frisbee. However, he would arrive "July-ish".

I'm guessing the 'white board' detailed 'timeline' JPG for Rev. Dover's arrival on Scoby the camel will be missing when I get to that.

For some reason, my favourite part of that great, great bait was Adamu's endless descriptions of the "tense feeling" going through his body as things just got worse and worse.

Oh, and pretty much anything involving his poor brother who he brought on safari with him, especially when - during one of many emails detailing their misery - Adamu adds that his brother "cries every night." I wonder if they are still speaking. Laughing

Anyone who hasn't read this bait, read it now. You will waste many a long night, but its worth it - after all, this is the bait that introduced the terms "stredded", "hash conditions" and "run left" to the Eater lexicon.

Alas, some of the best photos/audios from that bait are probably gone for good.

One of the principals involved (I cannot remember if it was Yeawhatever, Jojobean, or whom) bemoaned the loss of the photos/audios several years ago.

moral- if you have a great bait, feel free to upload your souvenirs for all to enjoy -- but keep a copy!!!

IMPORTANT: if you ever find yourself stredded in hash conditions, run left!
