@Tsnerd it must be mushy peas anything else it’s not proper British fish 'n chips, I also take mine with a pickled cucumber.

^^^ The quality of mushy peas can vary considerably though. I've always found them best in the North, Southern shops don't tend to do them as well.

In the states Jello is not used as a spread as far as I've ever known. Just flavored gelatin eaten on its own.

Often made up and supplemented with fruit mixed in (raspberry and sliced banana is a good one).

Apologies if I caused any consternation-blame it on my lack of knowledge 'bout putters. I don't bait,RL keeps me pretty busy.
I do,however, follow many of the threads and sometimes as the
case was here comment.
If there is anything you can help me do to correct the problem,I will
try to follow your instructions.
I didn't put much into my profile simply because I wanted to read and
follow.
I hope that this helps to clear up any problems.

Oxigen dissolved in water does not make oxygenated water, for some reasons I don't even fully understand myself, but it has to do on that you can separate them by heating the water, and that you'd need either electricity or some chemical to separate the Oxygen from the H2O in Oxygenated water.

Going back to tea, it depends on what you're doing. Black tea, english style needs water at 100ºC, i.e., boiling. Moroccoan green tea, needs almost boiling water. Japanese teas, both sencha and matcha need nothing higher than 80ºC (matcha can go with just lukewarm, as you swallow most of the stuff). Red tea also 100ºC. Of course I don't have a termometre, and I just go for the old, time-tested method of "it looks about right, then it must be right".

I'm a big fan of the Oolongs and I use just shy of boiling-ie guess work. Lapsang Souchow, the smokey tea, tastes better if the water boils for some reason.

I freely defer to UK and European members on tea expertise!

After all, all 'effervescent' really means is 'really bubbly' and there aren't any positive, medical or clinical attributes associated with this - yet Alka-Seltzer has been promoting that for decades. Rolling Eyes

Ewwwww ... Definitely icky, Inspector -- we call it "pink slime" around these parts.

Iced Tea? Love the stuff -- drink 1 gallon per week. Cheap/Easy/Lazy tea: Buy least expensive decaf teabags the grocery store carries. Heat 6 of those little bags in 1 quart of tap water in the microwave for 5 minutes (I have no idea how long it boils, but it does). Allow to steep 24 hours. Funnel into 1/2 gallon glass jar, fill jar with tap water. Shake to blend thoroughly.

Occasionally I like to add a little lemon juice -- but never, never any sweetener.
