Hello! I am new to the site, but not new to baiting. I have been baiting scammers off and on for years now, but I just recently started to make it a regular part of my daily needfuls. I stumbled across this site and figured I should probably at least say hi
My proudest achievement so far was getting a lad to call me on my burner phone, at international rates, and keeping him on the line for over 20 minutes. I hope to top that achievement in the near future.
I have a couple of baits on the go at the moment. One is a straight-up advance fee scammer. The other has gone kind of quiet of late. I'm looking around here and finding all sorts of ideas for ways to reinvigorate that bait -- you people are truly inspired! |

Hello all! I heard about baiting years ago, but at the time was too nervous/busy/apathetic to get involved. Recently, there was an interview with a baiter on an episode of 'The Digital Human' (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b098h9dn) which jogged my memory about baiting. This time, I decided to give it a go. Got a few baits on the go already, but they're all quite early stages at the moment. I'll let you all know if anything spectacular results. |

I use TinEye to check images on (possibly) fake sites. Sometimes it brings up a hundred copies of the image, some of which are in stock collections. Sometimes it brings up nothing. The lads may be reusing images they got from victims that aren't posted on the Web. |

Hello. I'm David from Kentucky. So, being upfront here, I am a gay male escort, or a "rent boy," in street talk lingo. I've done this for 14 years now...in Starting in NYC, I am now living in Kentucky...I advertise on the internet and get emails and phone calls from potential clients in 6 cities within a 6 hour radius of my home. So, naturally, escorts are easy targets for bullsh*t, and scammers posing as clients hit me up ALL THE TIME. To someone new without experience, they can be an incredible waste of time. And the thing I hate most is wasting time, because my time is money!! I've been wasting scammers time for years! I love it. I sought out this forum for tips on what to do when I run out of ways to keep them baited.
Right now, I've got one lad who has sent me the cashiers check (false name and mailbox service of course). I told him I deposited it. He now wants me to withdraw the money. I'm about to tell him I did... he's gonna give me a BofA bank account to deposit the cash to. What to do now? The rubber hits the road...what can I tell him to keep him on the edge of his seat for another couple days. He wants me to take a picture of the cash deposit receipt and send it to him. Should I make up a fake one, or send him a bogus file he can't open?
I'm sure I can find some ideas elsewhere in the forum. Looking forward to having some fun conversations with y'all (and I hope you don't judge me for my profession! I'm a good person) |

Pass the bank account info to a mod. Then make up a fictitious bank, with routing number and SWIFT code that are well-formed but nonexistent, for your baiting character to have an account at. You can tell the lad that banks don't give paper transfer slips anymore, or make one up which has insufficient information (like part of your account number), or make one up in a word processor, or send him a mangled image file, or forward him an email from your fictitious bank. A few days later, tell the lad that the transfer failed but the bank wouldn't tell you the reason. |

Hello! Obviously new here! For some reason, I am getting friend requests from obvious romance scammers about once a week. I ask them questions and we converse a little (maybe a day or two) via private message but I don’t accept their friend requests. Then I usually angrily call them out on being a scammer, then immediately block them.
My brother has lost everything because of scammers ( his wife, his home and life savings); I just want to taste some revenge  |
