You are always welcome to edit my titles TS.

But this game... it isn't as much a football game as a parody. You can land a plane on the US part of the pitch. I have not seen such a one sided game in a long time. Sadly that is no guarantee for success.

Actually no. I never made a prediction as I didn't wanna jinx my team. But yea, I thought that they were gonna win.

^I had to leave work and didn't make it home in time for the finish. But I agree with Dr. Mike, it was very one-sided from what I was able to watch. The holes in the US defense were huge. Crying or Very sad

So... time for the first quarter final. And this one is gonna be a war. Forget the schlieffen plan, forget the Pz.Kpfw. IV. It is the German midfield that is gonna win this one. I am sure that the French will do their best and that is quite a lot. But for the first time since the Portugal game the German will show the world what they are capable of.

The second game is going to be a closer one. Perhaps even overtime and a shot out. But i am going to stick my chin out and say say that the Colombians will take this one.

It isn't an improvement at all. Last time I made a prediction I said that the Germans were gonna win, and they did in the end. Sure it took overtime but they did getting the job done in the end. So I am done from 100% to 50%.

The Germans won their match. There is no explaining away that.

It is a shame that my team is eliminated. I wonder who I should cheer for now. Still, I am impressed by the young Belgian team. They did their best against a better opponent and it wasnt enough.

^ No. You made a very precise prediction, that didn't come true. You said that Germany would win easily, and the won narrowly after extended time. So it didn't come true. There is no debating that.

Any good charlatan knows not to make too precise predictions - it makes clairvoyance a lot easier, my young, Swedish Padawan. Wink

I guess the Dutch are happy, even though it was with a bit of luck, and well deserved i might add. Despite their appalling performance i found myself hoping they'd win the shot out.
I have also been taught that i shouldn't make precise predictions. Because if one small detail is wrong, apparently it is all wrong for some reason. So here is my prediction for tonight's game.

The federal republic will enter the final and it will be a great victory for the populous country to the south. The people shall rejoice in the capital B.
