I received a mail this morning that had an email from someone else attached to it. I carried on as if nothing had happened and passed the details to a Mod to send a warning in case it was a real victim.

Sweetheart the doctor is kind of American and she has the international medical licence and own a private hospital here that she run with so many experts from U.S.A and Mexico. i followed her down to her hospital and she is an expert with so many latest medical facilities.

Right now i guess we transfer Franklyn out of this Hospital for a better treatment, i have the doctor's full information with me right now sweetheart.

This procedure is called "reduction." In order to do this, Frankly will be given medications for pain prior to the procedure.

In view of the appalling record of treatment for this poor young man, my recommendation would be that the fracture is plastered and any further tests required, such as bone density scans etc should be implemented on his return to the USA or Europe which are not third world countries and have state of the art facilities and also benefit from being cost free to it's citizens.

He his having a Fracture in his shinbone (tibia), and this is the biggest of the two bones in the shin area. The other. And this bone is connected to a bone in region called the fibula and the two bones are the bones that connect the ankle bone to the knee. This bone is located between the ankle and the knee of the lower leg in His body.. right now he his feeling better fow the couple of days he was tranfered here as we do ensure that proper treatment is been apply to the injured part.

Thank you for your reply and your lesson in the anatomy of the human leg, I am well aware of what bones are in the leg due to my 7 years studying medicine and then specialising in General Surgery for over 20 years, which involves treating all kinds of trauma including broken legs.

You mention a temporary plaster splint to cover the wound, which implies a compound fracture, if this is correct, it should have been treated very soon after the accident. Is the fibula broken as well as the tibia?

As I said previously I would advise for the fracture to be stabilised and for the patient to return to Europe for tests regarding bone density etc as soon as he is able.
I can see no point in you carrying out all these tests when he is not a citizen of Nigeria, and they are better able to be done at home.
I understand your points about payment if that's how the system works over there, so I suggest you revise the charges minus tests which can be carried out at a later date and resubmit them to **** or Mr *******
