My favorite pet at the moment is a Facebook lad who was trying to do a simple, "Get in with the lonely old man as a surrogate son (My character lost his only son on 9/11) and then get $700 to come and visit," sort of con that preys on the most desperate, lonely and confused victims. I have a real disgust for those who prey upon the elderly, infirm and the grief stricken--so I've taken some joy in frustrating this guy over and over again.

It turns out that the "victim" had a stroke two years ago which left him mentally unable to function, but as the founder of his investment firm, he is so beloved that he still is the figurehead CEO--and as such our lad has been trying to get him to invest in the lad's Plastics Factory startup, as the lad tried to get the initial $700 turned into a $70,000.00 bank transfer. (It gets weird--trust me). The company lawyer slapped the lad for messing with their beloved figurehead CEO / stroke victim. I love his grovel back so much, I had to share it now.

Our poor lad has alredy gotten $70,000 mistransfered to some other account--and alas, someone else got lucky he supposes. He's already sent some moderate trophies which I will share upon some other occasion, as I'm expecting better ones soon. At any rate in the course of this our lad missed out on a huge sum--this is what happens when you get a brain-damaged victim transferring funds.
