Lad twigged FAST

I have been baiting a lad for about 10 days on one do those "60/40 split the dictator's inheritance" schemes. This is the one I got my first piggy on. The "bank" asked for a copy of the transfer slip. I first sent the huge .dll file, then the JPEG that opens to 20x20 pixels. Then he twigged! I guess he or his oga has been baited with those tactics before. He's probably also pissed if his bank account got shut down by Alan.

Here's his reply. Even tho he twigged, I slapped him anyway.

Recently, after having received about two piggies from a lad, I send them a phrase similar to his:

Nine times out of ten, I get an apology and another bank account from them.

@SR, give a slap a try. Your lad gave you a nice rant, so tell him you are insulted, that he isn't serious and he's using fake account. At very least you'll get a better rant.

^ What the above baiters said. I never let the lad have the last word. I poke them until they ignore me. Many dying baits can be prolonged or even revived by sheer persistence.

In my experience the others are correct - if you slap him around a bit, and pretend to be miffed that HIS failed bank accounts are the problem, you'll continue the bait & get another piggy from him Cool

I generaly agree on this one. Problem is keeping track of every bait. I usualy just reply to those lads who have sent me email.

I "second" that proposal. One of the very best and most entertaining lad rants I ever got (a portion of which is the the "Ogun" rant in my siggy) came about thanks to this tactic.

I slapped him and ranted that I had done everything the bank told me, sent them the payment slip twice, and now they have my money! I demanded my money back.

Have not heard back, so I will poke him one more time.

Nothing like a dose of pester power and a good poking (preferably with a blunt, rusty spike). Works wonders every time.
