The scam started in the typical way. A lad sent an e-mail (since lost) to another account. He wants help transfering millions that were left by his father, a high ranking government offical, now deceased. This particular lad seems rather religious. Mother Comfort is drawn to his pious pleas.
She writes to see if he is interested in her help. It seems he is and the bait begins. Read to the end for the appearance of the Satan Tomato:

Also, I am rather deaf and can't hear anyone unless they speak through
a megaphone. So, it appears a telephone call will not be possible.

there? We had many strikes when I was growing up in
Piggsley-upon-Tine, England. Many of the men in the village worked in
the local coal mines. They wanted better safety and more pay. My
father lead many of the strikes. He was what they call a Union man.
One day he wore a red shirt to work as a signal to strike. His boss
ran after him with a pitchfork yelling, "You bloody Communist!" "I'll
teach you to come in my mines and lead the workers in organized
revolt, you Son of a Motherless Goat!" My father ran away. That was
when he decided to move to the city and become a banker. I liked
living in our mansion in London ever so much more than the company
house where we lived at the store. I guess it just goes to show you
that you can do anything you put your mind to doing.
