A while ago I found this cool game that plays audio samples of different languages and you have the guess which language it is from the choices below it. As the game progresses there's more and more choices to choose from, making the game more challenging.

It's not just the number of choices. The first two pairs of languages I got were from unrelated language families, one in each case a branch of Indo-European that I'm partway familiar with. The third sample is either Serbian or Slovenian. I picked up plenty of familiar words, but I had to listen several times to even begin to guess which it is!

300  It was easy to pick out most of the European languages, but when it got to the Asian and African tongues, I was lost.

I was up to a score of 500 with one life left before it locked up on me. Interesting. They have some languages in there that I know for sure I have never heard in my life from some far, far away places. |

I don't know Igbo or Yoruba, neither is in the list, and I might have recognized Hausa (which is unrelated to Igbo and Yoruba) but don't know enough words to make a sentence in any of them. |
