I 'accepted' a job for a mystery shopper thinking that they would send checks as is discussed in some of the threads here but it turns out they want to use me as a WU mule.
How do I bait this? Should I just have lots of trouble using WU or pretend to pick up and then spend the 'money'. I would love to get my first piggy but I am not sure if I can do that with this one. Maybe it is best just to simply somehow warn the people being scammed and sending their money through WU perhaps.

Hello,

I think I might be baiting the same "mystery shopper" and would be interested in some pointers as well.

I haven't found anything in the stickies related to such a scam.

Remain bless,

The best way to bait this lad is for him to mail the fake check/money order. In order to do this properly you will need a drop box that is not tied to you or a real person.

You can get a drop box by becoming a premium member. After he sends the fake funds you can go multiple ways with the bait.

He wants you to deposit the fake money and send the rest to him via Western Union or Money Gram. He will tell you it is part of the job.

You can get a drop box here.>> http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=212906

The lad will want a phone number. Go here >> http://www.angelfire.com/oh3/pla440/testnumber.html

Or you can use a VM service. http://www.eaglemessaging.com/ Google voice also works.

ETA: We never give Lads any real information on the baiter.
