I was getting angry earlier this week reading an account of another poor lady who got scammed so I was really cheered up by an email I received today.
I've been working on this lad for a couple of months and got a couple of bank accounts for Alan from him.
He finally reached the end of his tether and sent me this:

I can just picture him...
Mouth drawn back in a rictus-like snarl, eyes glaring in hate/anger (or, indeed both), blood pressure rising, sweat patches all over and him bashing out his rant on the keyboard and muttering his curses as well all the while oblivious to the fact that the cafe has gone quiet and all the other lads are staring at him in embarrassment that one of their own should be reduced to a gibbering wreck.
All this is done in the knowledge that all his frustration, pain and anger towards you can only be expressed in an email...
I hope you haunt his dreams for many months ahead.
On an even more positive side, his confidence may have taken such a knock that any future real victims may only need to push him around a little, and he may well drop them.
This is, for me, the real effect of scambaiting - getting inside their heads and remaining there as a 'what if?' that cannot be answered, an itch that cannot be scratched.
