I was curious if anyone has heard the name "Emma S0liene"?
I've done love baits before, but this one remains a mystery...
The situation is I run my own web site with a modest fan base on youtube, it's for better or worse mostly about my RL. My demographics run on the order of 86% male...even higher for the web site chat...so when a new account signs up and identifies itself as female, I take a close look at the details and proceed with caution. It's not subject matter many woman in general are interested in.
So when "Emma" appears in the chat, I run the usual IP checks, she claims to be in fla, but IP resolves to cinncy...troublesome, but could be a number of reasons for that. But she's really not interested in the topic of the site, far younger then the average user, male or female (claimed to 19), and, the only search results turned up a couple of gaming sites and a couple of dating sites ("19 yro hot chick looking for 40+"...yeah, I know a number of questionable attributes...
Being my real life, I decide on a "play along" strategy, see if I can uncover more details, but it was odd, despite posting a number of "old pics", her camera was always broken, the web cam too (black and fuzzy images), so was her cell phone...the pics could have been lifted off any one of millions of FB pages...but the money request never came.
Then I pushed it too far, trying to get answers about her name, which isn't a real name on the entire web. At which point she stopped talking to me and moved one of the other users in my chat...both vanished shortly after in a huff...which APPEARS like a classic separation strategy...to isolate your "mark" from outside contact.
This has all the halmarks of a love scam, yet I have nothing conclusive,
so have you seen this pic used elsewhere? (pulled from a "dating site") Maybe I'm just getting old and jaded
...and thanks for reading through my ramble here...
