Hi all,
I'm fairly new to the romance baiting game, quite new to it all really Embarassed

I've had a couple of emails, one just out of the blue from a Yulia into my gmail account:

I've replied with a few platitudes, and asking for photos to see if they'll run out, or they're all of the same person. But, the reason for the post is I don't know whether these are 'real' lonely ladies, or they are laddies. Is it usual for them to come from Ukraine? They are both using Gmail if that helps.

They are Vlads and I have been flooded with him also. He is in play already here http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1959079&highlight=#1959079 so you can get an idea of what he might do.

Thanks NV. Wouldn't want to inflict pain on an innocent. He's sent me 3 photos so far, plus another two of a city. Just playing the fool at the moment to see where this goes.

A relief really, I'm 4 or 5 mails in and was starting to wonder as he hadn't asked for anything yet. I'm curious to see how many photos I can push for before the excuses come. The last communication I had was his laptop has broken, I wonder.

One of these years, we should write a vlad tutorial. Yes, Dog, you have a classic vlad. If Ukrainian, 90% are out of Lugansk , which is known for it's organized scammers. Russian are from varying places, mostly Mari-El the capital city of Yoshka Ola. I do not even bother checking IPs on Ukrainian vlads and seldom Russian-although i did have one in Moscow that used a cafe by the Kremlin.

Vlads are known in their own vernacular as "Fat Borises" because the victim is imagining a gorgeous woman. they frequently employ a woman to make a VERY brief phone call or pick up the Westy or MG transfers. Again, I have had one if not a couple that I was sure were female but that is incredibly rare. Do not be surprised if you can't find the pics right away: vlads will also pay a girl a few euros for pics. The best way to verify that you don't have an ITP is to google the name or email or section of their script. It should pop right up. Ask for the vlads full name after a couple of emails, this should help too.

Some general truisms about vlads-they like long, scripted letters and stay on script no matter what for 3-4 emails. Occasionally you'll get one that will answer a question the first time-in between blocks of scripts. Vlads are looking for money to pay the translators, frequently and agency, or for internet service or to come to the US. No other formats. They will never skype, seldom if ever IM or chat, and will frequently claim to have no phone, which is BS. Everyone one in UK or FSU has a phone, even babuskas. If confronted or given too much pressure they twig and are gone, even if they've been with you a couple months.

Currently, I'm seeing the money demand earlier-used to be vlads were willing to invest time into a victim. Now, it's two weeks.

One way to handle a vlad even if he stays on script is to keep him mailing as long as possible even with the translator thing-you know he's off script when 8 paragraphs become one and it only has to do with the money. Vlads also tend to be quite paranoid, which has had some amusing results.

As you can tell, I think vlads are fun. Not everybody feels that way.

EDIT: I hope you have good eyes. This one seems easy enough but some love the Wall of Words. It is very hard to sort through all that.
