Anyone have some really good places to sign up some scammers for daily newsletters? Figure clogging up their inbox might lower their productivity. |

It's a waste of time and they won't skip a beat, I'm afraid. Doubtful he'd drop a box because of spam but even if he did, it's then a case of just opening another one.
Also, we bait those boxes. If a lad was to drop a box because of spam (not that he would), it would cause the baiter grief. |

First, welcome to the board. I hope you stick around and take a good read of the stickied posts and also everything in Eater University.
Piling spam in their inbox does nothing to deter them. They would copy what they feel is important, ditch that mail and be running again in 5 minutes.
What you are suggesting is something we do not do. The sites that track these people by addresses and such would lose them and any fresh victim would be unable to seek them out in that way. We like them to remain constant in what they have and do. If a victim searches, we want them found.
EDIT: Defer to the Squirrel! |

Quite. If he thinks his box is valuable, but in fact it is a liability because it is full of baiters, he is easy to bait, easy to track, and easy to keep pinned down. If he thinks his box is a liability he can just bin it. Think poison rather than explosives |

Elaborating further on what has already been said about this, we post scam 'formats' at our sister site, scamwarners.com, and MANY victims or potential victims find their way there by Googling a scammer's address. Forcing a lad to drop his box and open another one interferes with our ability to pass important information along to educate possible victims.
We want these accounts to stay active, and to publicize them. It is one of our most effective tools. It hurts the lads far more to cut off their access to victims than to inconvenience them for a few minutes while they simply create a new account. |
