If people died on that land and it is historical in nature, then it should be considered sacred ground. Too bad the government does not buy it and designate it as historical landmark as they buy up lands for wetlands use.

My father had a copy of the above and others (when book clubs were popular in the 70’s) The Fetterman Massacre being one I recall. Both good reads although it must be 30+ years since I read them.... the things some teenagers get up to eh.
