I went to register for a YIM account to talk to a lad who wants to chat with me but was met with a requirement that says you need a cell number to register. They send you the code via SMS.

K7, Skype, Google voice numbers etc don't seem to work.

Has anyone figured out a way around this? I'd really like to chat with the lads.

I got fed up with all this K7.G8 PS3 malarki and got myself a cheap pay as you go phone £5 a month to top up.
It's funny,when I used to give them a made up a number they kept wanting to call it,now I am putting a genuine number up,they never call Confused
