Baiting from Russia?

I'm actually located in Russia and speak some Russian. However my native language is English. Am I right that one particular scam I do not want to bait is the Russian love scam? If I can do it safely (using Gmail etc.) how should I start. If I cannot do it safely, is there anything I can do to help other baiters?

I can think of no reason you would be unable to bait them if you choose to. Gmail is safe here in America, but there could be some restrictions in Russia. One way to test would be to set up 2 addresses and send a mail to yourself and see what your header shows. I would think you would be safe using it.

Starting out is fairly straight forward, just a matter of finding them. Scamwarners is a great source for them A few of the dating sites will have them. It really kind of depends on what script you might be comfortable working with. Some do the translator scam, some romance people.

I know one of them, Natalya the stripper, is still active but not real sure on the address. Phil and I have baited her and TMF is working her now. Not sure if the email is the same though.
