Don't know if anyone can help, but recently I have been getting blue screen of death on my pc showing "a page fault in non paged area". Now the weird thing is I only seem to get this after clicking on google link in my favourites toolbar. It doesn't happen if I click on 419eaters or gmail links which are also in my favourites toolbar only google. Confused

My os is XP
Pentium dual-core E5300 @2.60GHz
3.0GB RAM
Nvidia Gforce 9600GT

I would suggest that you delete the Google link and try readding it, see if that sorts it

^^That's the first thing I did when I encountered the problem but the new link also sent the pc crashing. Even the google link on my wifes' "side of the pc" would crash it when clicked on.
However after reading VMs advice above I decided to remove the link again and re-add it. Now this time it appears to have sorted the problem, (on my side at least, haven't tried on wifes yet) Confused

But the good news is I have convinced the wife that we need to get a new quad core pc with windows7 and upgraded video card etc. Very Happy

I had a similar & it turned out to be the google installer. I uninstalled that (or deleted it - can't remember) and everything was fine.

Any one of these will cure the problem.

I guarantee that after applying this solution you will have no blue screen of death.

Well, no screen at all, really.

You need to think back on what you've recently installed or upgraded, last in ought to be first out.
