I was talking to fellow baiters, and during the conversation, I mentioned how chicken is mostly meat for sissies. He was appalled.

As we couldn't reach an agreement on the matter, I'll let my fellow Eaters be the jury. Cast your votes - is chicken sissy meat or not?

Of course nobody is going to want a wimpy little chicken breast surrounded by, umm, green things?

Clearly you are just hanging out with the wrong folks, Dane - probably people that insist on taking out the bones, naming it tender names, and then cutting the poultry into little, tiny, healthy pieces.

One can make manly chicken. It involves cooking over open flame or in vats of lard and grease and using spices that are very spicy. Dane you have clearly never eaten some real Thai chicken based dishes. If you can walk away without shedding a tear I will applaud you. They are HOT!!!

Well, I am torn. I love a good piece of red meat cooked medium rare. It doesn't matter much to me how it gets there, just tender and juicy.

On the other hand, chicken is the only place I can ask any one in the homestead if they like breasts or thighs better without getting a really dirty look from the misses.

I guess I will have to abstain ... from voting that is. Wink

At this point, can I just say, October is vegetarian awareness month 2012, so why not munch some yummy veggies instead? Gives the animals a break and improves your diet. Go on, give it a try - make 2 nights a week veggie night and see how well you do.

Oh, and tofu sucks. Wink
