what is/was so bad about tsb? there are/were many who fought against 419 on an ethical base (as here I would say) and could leave aside racist, humiliating, dangerous (tatooing lads, etc.) stuff.
so what did I miss? |

We're not turning this thread into an "us versus them" discussion. A question was asked about why it shut down. No one has thus far has any definitive answer -- not surprising since none of us own/operate the site.
There are many scambaiting sites. We are one of those sites; TSB was another. Each operates according to its own rules.
If no one has an answer to the OP's question beyond what has already been said, no need to continue the discussion as it will only devolve. I don't see the need to jackboot right now and lock this, but it's moving in that direction... |

maybe the Adm. was taken out by the Nigerian mafia. Anyway I was new there as I am new here. But there was some real funny conference calls between scammers over there. Anybody know if those audio treasures is lost?

I've noticed over the past few months that there hasn't been as much activity there as in the past. I'm not sure why that would be.
For example, both places let members post extra scam letters for others to bait, if they wanted. Over there, there were fewer surplus letters posted and much fewer hits on the posts.
It was an expensive site to maintain and maybe they just didn't bring in enough to pay the bills. With less activity and a shortage of cash, that may be why TSB has gone down. |

I think the site got trashed. I know my hotmail got hacked to f@@ck around the same time as the site went down.
Id been a member on there for over a year and when it dissappeared i initally thought it was a cash/legal prob.
I think think the lads musta hacked tsb and sought revenge on the $$$ tsb had cost them. |
