scammer just sent me bank detail's, can someone close it for me, I dont have a clue as to how to go about it

Is there no way to close an account, you guys have been helpful and I'm not ungrateful with the help you have given me, but some on the links are from 2009 and the treads are locked so you cant ask any question or have any updates if its locked, the link is for fake bank accounts and web sites, this is a real account (as far as I have been able to check) and it seems there's no provision for this at all... our job is to make these lads like as awkward as possible, what better way that to close the genuine accounts down, if they have no account then they cant get any £££ from there scams no matter how good they are... dont you think?

There is no guaranteed way to close an account, it's simply not that easy and bank regulations in different countries vary a lot. There is loads and loads of bureaucracy involved, and many banks will simply not respond to a complaint of any kind from the public due to legal privacy issues of account holders.

If you report the account to "alan", this is the best hope we have and in some cases indeed accounts are closed down. Although the announcement about alan is old, this is still the best procedure.

If you sent alan the details as instructed, feel free to add the piggy to your signature right away. Piggies are claimed for reporting bank accounts regardless of whatever happens next.
