I've got a draft and outline of a projected 600-page hardbound book titled "History and Politics of 419Eater.com, 2003-2012" but so far it has been rejected by Doubleday, Random House, HarperCollins, Penguin, Houghton-Mifflin, and Oxford University Press. Sad

I think part of the problem is copyright issues as it's so hard to get releases from some members who have been banned.

The history I know Jim, is there are actually only two or three real members. The rest of us are figments of those members. We don't post, the site is just made to look like it is populated to draw in more advertising.

Have I missed something??? I thought 419eater was run by lads so they could get more replies to their scams - hence the mentor programmes to train new "victims"...
After all, we all know lads are pathetic lonely creatures that want more attention to justify their miserable existence! Wink

if......... then there are no copyrights about that what they posted in public area's of the eater that's the whole eater, besides certain extra secure area's like the mod forum and only PM's should be exempt from your 600 pages.
But a book about PW's will be hard to sell anyway Laughing

What I meant with history and politics is that it would be nice to have a sticky answering these questions: who created Eater? (i know it was shiver) Why? When? Who "owns" the site? Where is the site hosted? Who runs it? Is there some kind of chain of command? Have we ever been sued? Do we cooperate with LEO? Has there ever been a meeting? Is there a history of mental illness among the members?

When I first joined I saw posts about the infamous '419eater ladies pin-up calendar'.

Was the calendar just a myth, a product of a sad middle aged man's fantasy? or were they a limited edition jealously guarded since by the proud owners for their private perusal only?

I think we should be told. JF please make sure you mention this in your 600 page 'Eatergate' expose.
