Ray Bradbury was one of the good guys. He visited three schools that I attended and would spend hours autographing books for the kids. |

Strangely though, he believed in God.

Wow!! Talk about coincidence - I was reading "Golden Apples of the Sun" literally a minute before I found out he was dead.
One of the greats of sci-fi and some of his work was real visionary.
Two in particular from GAotS really stand out - "The Murderer" and "The Pedestrian". Go read them if you haven't already.

Fahrenheit 451 was what got me hooked on reading.
A couple of years ago, I was going through my ridiculously cluttered bookcase and happened to come across an old copy of F451 I'd read while in school. I decided to crack it open for old time's sake and read a few pages. A few pages turned into several pages, several pages turned into more...
And before you knew it, I was reading up a storm, and I just had to find more books to keep going.
