I've lurched around this site for a few years now and have been happily entertained.
Recently, I have put my BBQ for sale on craigslist and a guy that has "just got married and I'm presently on honeymoon to Palm Beach" showed some interest in my item and wants his mover to pick it up after the check clears. So I'm wondering if I could get some help on this one.
Thanks,
Mike
edit: I just noticed that this did not go in the introduction thread. Sorry about that. |

That does sound suspect. Did they mention anything about sending you more than you're asking for the item?
Also, if you could, send me a private message with the header information (for gmail, it would be to click on the down arrow in the upper right of the message and select Show Original), I'll look it over and see if it's legitimate or a scam. Normally, the rule of thumb is that if you feel like it's a scam, it stands a very good chance of being one. |

So I've decided to drop it since they have my email. I'll have to fire up some of my other accounts and see what I can dig up. Thanks for the advice in PM, BattleHawk77. |

You're more than welcome. And call me Hawk. It makes for easier typing.
Go find you a mentor and have at it!
You will find you can satisfy your sadistic side and your creative side both here (you have but to look at previous baits to know this). |

Welcome to becoming more active to eater.
One of the things that have to be experienced is baiting a mugu, who seems to be having a problem keeping his site online. This is just one of the must have experiences that happen on eater. |
