More specifically Ghana, what would you ask them in regards to learning more useful information about scambaiting? I've got a somewhat unique opportunity in the foreseeable future to converse with a man from Ghana and would like to pick his brain a little in regards to learning a little bit of first hand knowledge about the culture there to possibly improve upon the scambaiting experience.

Any suggestions or requests?

I've always kind of wondered why they bother trying to make a living with internet scams. It seems like a lot of work to me just to converse with the scammers I deal with. I can't imagine how many emails the lads are having to reply to...just not worth it..

It's kinda like a gold rush. Few succeed, but everyone remembers the success stories and forgets the failures of the business. People see what "can" be made in the business and ignore what is usually made.

That and the fact that the economy over there sucks and the opportunity for more gainful employment is rather limited.

I can’t speak on culture, but one attraction is probably they have very little risk of getting arrested, and they can make a fortune. I seem to remember a news story that said people were getting out of the drug trade and getting into net fraud because this.
