i am so new on here I can not figure out how to do anything. I am in the midst of communicating with some one that I am 98% sure is trying to scam me and have been basically playing him(or her or them or it.) along. I would like to find out if anyone has had an experience with him or would recognize him or the name he gives me. His info is all correct but I am pretty sure he is using some one else's personal info. At Least I hope it's not the guy whose pictures I am looking at because what a shame. I have not been able to find him on any lists or anything. But have spokeod the personal info and it is all true..

I'm sure many of us here would be more than willing to help you.
Firstly, if you've given this scammer ANY of your personal or identifying information, stop baiting this person. There are literally 10's of thousands of lads(baiter slang for scammers) out there to bait and you don't have to do so at the risk of your own personal safety.
I would reccomend you taking some time to read around the forums, and i'll post for you my standard greeting I give to all new members.
You can sign up for a mentor here (We really reccomend you do so that you can ask any questions you might be embarrassed to ask other members. Also mentors have lots of experience and can assist you if you get stuck in your baits)
I think the only requirement is that you've made your first post, and there you have it.
Here's a GREAT thread to read before you start interacting with your mentor. You may notice some of the tactics used by baiters but you may not yet know the terms and specific methodologies to do it properly. This thread is very helpful
I think the most important thing here is that you remember to bait safe. Never give out ANY personal information and create new email addresses to bait from. Gmail strips your IP address from headers making it harder for lads to pin point your location.
IE: Don't send scammers Fake ID's (We Don't Send Scammers Anything they can reuse on other victims!)
Don't send scammers Viruses. (Scammers use internet cafes and you'd be damaging innocent third parties computers [ALSO ILLEGAL])
Welcome and have fun!

Hi Gypsy1943 and welcome to eater. It's good that you spotted a scammer before they took your money.
All Narcisschisms says is good advice and well worth following if you decide to take up scambaiting.
However I read your post as you wanting to find out if the person writing to you is indeed a scammer. For us to do this you will need to post some e-mails you have recieved from "him" along with the headers. Details on how to find them can be found Here. Copy and paste onto the forum.
_________________ PLEASE,WE DO NOT WANT ANY URGLY SITUATION IN THIS TRANSACTION There is a lot of spaces in the receipt for them to put their stamp, so why do they put the stamp on the 10 digital codes, and you know that without the correct number ,western union here cannot issue out the payment. (I know )
When i tell you how to do things well you will do the opposite Why?-Joseph D1ar4
