I am NOT supporting the Nigerian scam. However I have a question.

How is the Nigerian scam any different than the people on the internet who put out teasers and then require you to pay for a subscription to read the rest?

I do a lot of Google searches for many different things. It always irritates me when I click on a Google returned link, goto that link, and then have to sign up for a paid subscription to read the info I was searching for. These people pay Google to have their link take top billing.

To me, the people who do this are as bad as any other scammer out there. How much time is wasted when you consider all the people this happens to?

Your Thoughts ?

We don't only bait the "Nigerian scam".

The second half, of your poorly worded question, is a non sequitur.

After "you pay for a subscription to read the rest", there is actually something there for you to read.
