I am not exactly new here, but am looking for some help...in November 2008 thru March 2009 I was being scammed by a man (men he told me when he confessed) who was from Nigeria. This person is now on Facebook with the same name and same picture he used when talked to him on yahoo messenger. I know the stories they used then and am sure they are still doing the same scamming on women. Would appreciate any advice anyone can give me on this. (Yes, I at the time did send some money-hanging my head in shame, but in my defense I said that if I was being scammed, it wasn't on me - he used "a son" on me...) I know he is scamming these women as he did me...what to do? I want him CAUGHT - or the ring he is with...  |

First, I'm sorry to meet you in this way. It is nothing to hang your head about though. They are good at what they do.
I don't think it would be a good idea for you to chase this person(s) since he has already gotten to you once.
If you could give some information on this one, like header info. and a mail or two, maybe even his FB profile, someone may pick him up. |

I do so want to be in on this one as it is really personal!!! He (they) were using this on me while my mother went into the hospital and died after a few weeks...I will be glad to give his name on Facebook if you will let me know as things progress...I mean, my mother was dying through the time I allowed this person(s) to use me...so, I am smart enough to stay away from him, but do so want so much to be in on it...He(they) use the name "Chuck Harris" and the pic is one that he used back then. He kept in contact with me even though I wouldn't send him anymore money...until finally he sent an email saying that "Jesus Loves Americans" and finally told me that he was part of a group of young men in Nigeria and that the money was used for their food and sport...He used a son called "Ben" and used a "minister" and he said he was a single dad, his parents were killed in an accident yrs ago and he was sent to Africa to work on a coffee plantation - teaching the natives how to grow coffee beans...yeah! I wasn't totally foolish, I mean, I did THINK there were some things wrong...but with all going on in my life, I let myself get stung by him (them)...so there is his name, he(they) are on facebook and I really would love to hear how this goes...I had contacted Facebook about him, but they never did anything. So, I came back to this place since I know you will get him..

Sorry for the double post here but I couldn't bring myself to talk business with that statement. Have you talked with anyone at our sister site yet? There is a scamwarners link at the top of your page under the advertisement bar. They are much more experienced with things like this. |

Sorry for not being specific about which "Chuck Harris" on Facebook...His picture looks like it is grainy like out of a magazine. His profile page says "Give me a loud if you are interested" and when describing himself, it's a whole paragraph of his "traits", LOL! The only trait he has is HE LIES and SCAMS!
Anyway, thank you for letting me "not" feel so ashamed. I do not want anyone to be pulled into this guy(s) game.
