The bank form I'm supposed to sign says I agree to the terms of the deposit agreement between the barrister and the bank. Naturally I am insisting on seeing the document. He spent three days trying to persuade me that I don't need to see it and that asking for it shows a lack of faith, another two days asking which document it is he doesn't want me to see and four more days with his scanner broken but "it will definitely come tomorrow". I do hope he's taking a great deal of trouble preparing it.
Of course if it comes in English, I'll thank him for the translation but demand a copy of the French original. |

Hmmm this is legal stuff, its best to see the original (in French), don’t forget the other documents either. I am sure a few can be thought up, these too must be in French. |

I finally got the deposit agreement from him and I am delighted to say he appears to have taken a lot of trouble over it. Not sure if this counts as a "trophy" but whatever it is, it's my first one ever!
