The other day I stumbled into a romance scam - got sent to one of my real profiles on a dating site. I dropped all contact from my real dating profile/email and am attempting my first bait from a throwaway email, but feel free to bait the fucking shit out of this person.

she/he is using Zoosk (which is a shit ripoff site in and of itself and should be avoided like the plague due to their shady business practices, but that's another story). This person is sending messages on the site with a masked email and asking potential vics to contact her via email. I can't find the link to the scam profile, sorry.

Sorry, I'm still kind of a newb here even though I registered almost 7 years ago.

You are saying that you think she is a scambaiter and is looking to engage actual scammers? Doubt it - I have exchanged a couple of mails with this person from my fake email account and all replies appear to be scripted, busted English.

Before suggesting that this may be a genuine person, please do a simple Google search on
"I'm just an everyday, ordinary, average,normal woman" to see how often this script has been used, and by how many.

I was just curious about the 419 in her name and thought that it might be a baiter profile...I wouldnt imagine too many scammers would use 419 in their names...some are pretty silly though

Yeah, this person isn't too bright. Claims to be half Nigerian, sends me pictures of an uber-white woman, goes by a Latina name. Somebody is a few bulbs short of a full chandelier.
