First one received, or first one baited? I was getting scam mails back in the '90s on dial-up AOL. I questioned the manhood of a few of them but mostly used the delete key a lot. First one I baited was Barrister Christopher Barra. It was a trunkbox scam.

The first one I can remember baiting was one of the (many, many) sons of Sani & Maryam Abacha.
My first encounter with a 419 scam was way back before we had computers ... yes a good old fashioned hand written (air mail) paper letter!
