Doc is right, probably trafficked illegally (as ordinance is military only). However, could be military curios bought from someone who did not know they were live. Has happened in the States where a widow will find the chest of mementos and attempt to sell a "dummy" grenade only to have the dealer call the bomb squad to properly dispose of the item.
It appears terror has been ruled out immediately. I hope the can accurately reconstruct why the bastard did it. |

I just saw it on the news myself. Though I live appr. 150 km from that place I was shocked to see what that fruitcake bastard pulled there.
To my knowledge only one (EX) Eater member lives and works there, he was a great guy to have around here and I hope he's fine.

Another Belgian reporting in - I'm fine. Just like Bobdemol I live about 150-200 km away. I hope Albator is okay.

Legally? No. Gun laws are quite strict here. But just like any other country, if you really want it, there's a black market for it.
The final numbers are still a bit flakey, when I check I find 4 dead and 123 wounded. In any case though, it's way too much. |

Perhaps the attacker(s) used improvised grenades - the high toll of injured would suggest that.
One news outlet suggested that it was a attempt to break out a suspect from the courthouse on the square. |
