Thankfully the link u put here is of that performance and not any of our "personal time" that you've documented! (Although I think some of the guys may rather view that.)

Editing: Oh and love, why didn't you ask your wife if she could record this for you? Ummmm I have the program on my laptop....Perhaps it's because after the personal time, you kind of roll over and fall asleep - and don't think to ASK!!! (Just like a man!)

With all do respect I have a question 00 and I don't pretend to be an expert on crowd control but wouldn't tear gas have also affected all of the people standing around watching the spectacle? I also wonder if campus police would have access to tear gas.

I'm not saying that the campus police handled this the best way but to me this is a classic damned if you do damned if you don't situation. Anything the police officers did would be scrutinized. I can see this going just the opposite way if they used tear gas people being outraged that spectators standing around were subjected to the tear gas and the officers should have used a localized means like pepper spray.

bravo, I note that the type of spray used, since you mentioned it, was foam-ish looking. This is meant for use in instances when you don't want to contaminate a whole bunch of people, I would venture to guess. I seem to remember (in my home State) the the "Use of Force Continuum" allows for the use of chemical spray against the passively resistant subject. The tactic is to cause discomfort and reinforce commands and effect compliance I wonder if it is the same for California. Other officers in the film did nothing to stop or request stoppage of the application of the spray/foam. This would lead me to believe the Officer believed he was acting within the scope of his training.

On a side note, when you are blocking a public roadway and refuseing to disperse aren't you impeding the freedom of those who wish to use it, regardless of reason for using said roadway? Politique aside, this alleged occupation stuff is getting stupidly boring.
