I am a video/film editor signed up on a site called productionhub. I received an email from a lady requesting my services. Mind you, I do not have a profile filled out or a picture included. This email looks very similar in nature to the rent - looking for a room mate scam to me. What do you think? The email is below. I also included the statement about hotmail informing me that the email blew up huge red flags:

This message looks very suspicious to our SmartScreen filters, so we've blocked attachments, pictures, and links for your safety.

I have a small project of footage & photos I would like to incorporate into a movie clip. Please let me know if you're for hire and your rates. Thanks,
(notice she didn't sign it. I don't know what she sent that got blocked either)
I'm pretty dead sure this is a scam. I've seen many 419s before, but this is by far the most odd.

Maybe, maybe not.
If you do a google search on her email address you will find an events/escort company based out of Florida. 1 year registration but the info used on the registration matches that of the company.
If you go to the website there is an intro clip movie thing - the request may very well be legitimate, but I would suggest researching it with locals in that area or local PD, businesses, etc.
An awful lot of effort for a lad...not saying the business is honest or reputable, but just based on the small info here I'm not seeing any signs of AFF - if that changes, we can always relook.
In the meantime I XXX'd out her info. |

For me, I get them from Mandy's. Not many times from ProductionHub. Luckily that site gives out the requester's IP addy. Below is an example!
I didn't bait or even respond after seeing the IP location(had my info). The IP tracker here works wonders.
Don't take the gig if it seem iffy. Good thing you asked ??? here. (sidenote if anyone wants to bait this yahoo addy, go ahead, tho it over 3 months old)
