Hey folks,
this is my first post after joining up today. just wanted to say Hi. Not sure if this is in the right forum, but couldnt find an intro's page.
I received a scam email yesterday from a chap called Si-Wan Park. I googled his name and found it to be a stanard hong kong transfer scam. But the google led me to this site. This wasn't my first scam email, but it really got to me, so much so ive set up my email addresses and im going to start scamming scammers in my free time. When im working Im investigating crime, including fraud, for a police force in the UK, so itll be nice to have some fun with it too.

Welcome to Eater! Spend some time looking around, especially in Eater University, and jump in, the baiting's fine. Just be sure to bait safe -- fake name and special email address that doesn't link back to you.
Oh, and what you mean to say is "wannabe scambaiter", not "scammer."  We don't scam the scammers, we bait them by pretending to be real victims. It's a big semantic difference.

Welcome MP, dive in and have fun, just remember to do it safely and you'll be fine. Basically do whatever Juan says and you'll be fine, that's how it usually works. Although I never did understand that thing with the jelly...
Oh and watch out for the squirrel. His bite's much worse than his bark. |
