How about this an approach... instead of the lawyer.

Have a random person email them.... saying they actually started working for TWAT until they found out they were a criminal enterprise.... and they have seen all the pain that this lad has gone through but now this random employee is wanting to steal money from TWAT but they need the lad's help to do it. And this lad is the only person they can trust because the church just recently screwed them over.

Hilarity ensues.

That would be something worth trying. He is a good lad and even though he have lost all faith in us we might be able to make something out from his hatred towards the twat.
However this lad have not logged in to his email for many months as he doesn't have any access to internet service in Adre. Adre is such a backward place that the number to their police station is a mobile one. They don't even have land-line telephone. While that is not in any way a perquisite for internet these days it does prove the technological development of this place of the world and the way they live their lives in there.

A few years back Hector used mail services there. But either they have closed down or Rushforth cant find it. I strongly lean towards the former. He have had strong incentive to find one and use it but have failed to do so.
