Back when I was baiting ( till dec 2010 ) I used K7 to get msgs from lads. Now getting back into it , I need a phone number but my old K7 one is inactive. I tried to sign up again but it seems that they aren't accepting any new accounts. Anybody know of a free service that serve the same function? |

There is www.FlexTel.com and www.UKnumber.co.UK . The first works only if you already have a number in the UK. If you live in the US., use www.uknumber.co.uk and use www.freephone2phone.com to activate it for free. |

I feel that I should mention that it is rather inexpensive for Nigerians to call the US and UK. If they call some place like Yemen, or Wallis & Fortuna, then their bill skyrockets (like 10X as much) I would research into obtaining a number from a more expensive place.
Unfortunately I haven't found a free one yet.

K7 TIP: If anyone has an active K7 number I would suggest you make a note on your calendar to call it every week or so in order to keep it active. I call mine one time per week and leave myself a message so that will keep it active. |

I was gutted to see that K7 isn't accepting new accounts. That was a really useful tool. 
Google Voice is good but it's more of a hassle to set up. |
