... That my character was in a terrible car wreck and broke both legs before her check arrived to do the Western Union mystery shop.
It's going to be even more terrible when she finally makes it to the WU and sends the money to the FIRST person the lad told her to send it to, forgetting completely about the SECOND email with a different name in it. She must have been a bit high from the narcotics when she read it. Oops.

With two broken legs, it sounds like your character needs a friend to make the trip to WU with the information for both of the scammer contacts. Too bad the friend won't know which one to use! |
