on the assignment after all I have already being paid before now.

Warning: do not think of contacting the police or even tell anyone because

somebody want you dead, and the person knows some members of your family
as well. For your own good I will advise you not to go out once is 7pm
until I make out time to see you and give you the tape of my discussion

It is usually best not to try and play a hitlad as some kind of badass.He needs to believe that you have some interest in paying him.Good ways are you know who it is(ex wife,former friend etc).You can also feign disbelief and get him to convince you(if this is the guy 2 desks away,this is really a sick joke.)Others have said they have a terminal illness and offered to pay more to do the job more quickly.As with any bait,the key is that he believe it is somehow possible to get money out of you.

I didn't receive a response to my short original email. So I went on a lengthy rant, claiming that I knew it was my ex, and that I'd pay this guy twice as much to make my ex miserable for several weeks. Here's the response:
