Is there money actually waiting there?

I got an email today ( as I get 15 or so a day bla bla bla
This one says they have already sent money via western Union

As follows

And it seams to have a current number

Nations Government.So I decided to email you the MTCN and sender's name

USD by tomorrow as you know we will be sending you only $5000.00 USD per
day. Please pick up this information and run to any Western Union in your
country to pick up the $5000.00 USD and call me back to send you another
payment tomorrow.

Call or email me once you picked up this $5,000 USD today. Here is the

The scammers sometimes send fake mtcns as well as real ones. I don't know if you have checked the mtcn and the name on Western Unions home page. If it is fake then there is nothing more to it. Many are. If it however is real which it could very well be you should send a pm to one of the moderators, which are the ones with a green name so that they can take action against it.

The reason scammers do this is that they send ASEMs to victims and when they check the mtcn online they will see that it shows as "ready to be picked up" The letter told you that there are $5000 on the mtcn as this is the maximun amount you can send at oncel. That is a lie.. What they do is that they send just a few dollars to the themselves and then gives you the sender name and not the receivers. This way you can see it is available and that you can pick it up. To be able to pick it up though, you need the receivers name and not the senders name that they gave you. But you can however see that it is available for pick up if you have either the senders or the receivers name.

When you tell them that you cant pick it up (which you can't) they will tell you that there is a fee to be paid before you are cleared to pick the money up. And if you put yourself in a victims place they are more prone to believe the lie as they can clearly see that the money is there when checking online. They cant see how much but they are told that is is a lot of money and they often believe the scammer. But for real it is only a few dollars that is available.

Its my first response to you. That bait sounds like it has much potential for fun. Think your strategy out and go for it. The lad or lads have allowed greed to out shine logic. Often the case.

Have fun, I am interested to read the progress. Don't be disappointed if you get dropped. There are lots of lads in the sea of scam.
