My female baiting character is a ditz and has an older brother. This chat happens right after the opening modalities and before any funny baiting could begin. Also, this is the first time she mentions her brother.
Romance Lad: its a GOOD PLACE
Me: That's good. I have never been to Qatar. My brother is in the middle east now, but he's in Ninawa.
Romance Lad: where is that an whree are u at the moment baby
Me: No. He wants me to go there, but I think it is too dangerou still. I am in the USA.
Romance Lad: yes u are safe over there
Me: I like it here. My brother is really conservative and religious all the sudden and he thinks I should move, but I like it. It's where I've always lived.
Romance Lad: dont go any where baby
Me: really?
Romance Lad: let him die over there
Me:  He's my brother.
Me: He's a really good person. Just a ltitle annoying right now with all of the religious talk.
Romance Lad: he is gooing to a wrong road baby
Me: What do you mean?
Romance Lad: u dont do what your brother tells u baby
Me: Why?
Me: Our parents died so I don't really have other family.
Me: Do you have brothers and sisters?
Romance Lad: yes i have baby
Romance Lad: marry me if u dont mind baby
Me: heehee... You are sweet.
What's funny is the only hint I gave that the brother might be a bit dodgy is that when giving his location I said "Ninawa" and not "Mosul". Is this something the average romance-chat-lad would pick up on? |

It was a pretty over the top reaction considering this is the first the brother is mentioned and the reference is extremely subtle. Mosul is in Ninawa province. However, some people inside IS started calling Mosul Ninawa after taking over. To show how obscure this is, I just searched Google News in effort to find a news source that points out this distinction and could not find one. |
