My advice: read some running or finished baits, get a mentor and always bait safe.

Hello all I was scambaiting vlads for a couple of years back when I was bored, then got busy with something else. Well after seeing all the scammers just begging for me to give them a run for their money just standing in line, well it was time for me to get on my dead a$$ and start up again. If they want to scam the innocent, then they need to work for it and as long as I am not able to walk, then I will be scambaiting, it is more fun that watching netflix. I am so glad that this forum is here.

Hello, everybody! I have lurked around a bit and both appreciated the work you're doing and the often entertaining fruits of your labors. I have decided to give it a shot myself. Hi! I recently joined because I love stringing these guys along and I never realized there was a dedicated group of people who are just as enthusiastic about it as I am. A friend of mine sent me the link to this forum. Now that I'm reading through everything, I realize that I'm SUCH an amateur. I hope to one day be as awesome as many of you here.

I still have a lot of stickies to read through, so right now I'm kind of worried that I'm going to do something stupid or break a rule. If so, please forgive me. I don't have a lot of forum experience. I belong to a (nerdy, sorry) ABJD forum, but that's mainly just a bunch of chicks gabbing about trippy big-eyed dolls, so it's like apples and oranges to this one.

I'm also an ex Private Investigator from NY... so that comes in handy once and a while. One of my first private cases was a woman who got scammed in the 419 Romance Scam/Fake Money Order ploy.

Hi, obviously I'm new here lol. I'm in my mid 20's from New York City.

I've recently got into scambaiting, and after that I found this website which has been an unimaginable amount of help.

I mainly bait the Craigslist scammers. I've sold some stuff on Craigslist and began getting these scam responses, I first was just telling them off, but then I decided to mess with these guys, and it got fun. Then i found this website and its been inspiring me so i guess I'll keep going. I've created a few fake e-mails, characters, and I even have a "fake" phone number I can use. (The phone belongs to an Agent Smith that lives in Antarctica Island, California.)

I have these two baits that have been going since late September, I will eventually post then here once done with them. One might be pretty soon because I might be losing the guy, but we'll see what happens with that.

That's about it I guess

Hello there. Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm Jen, an American now living in the UK.

I found this site because most of my "real world" work is investigating fraud.
I thought this would make me uniquely qualified to help bait some of these scammers, because I know what kind of serious damage they can do.

I haven't started doing anything yet, I'm still just getting the hang of everything and reading through the stickies on the forums. But anyway, hi! Smile

Hi, just found this site while following a lot of interesting trails after spotting a Benin-based Mercedes campervan scam on our local Gumtree site. I"m based in Christchurch, N.Z. We have enough problems post-earthquakes without the attentions of scammers, so it's good to find a facility dedicated to give them some of their own medicine.
