hi all
im watcher, and from finland

ive been scambaiting for some time alone. been watching the forum from time to time, now i thought i would register me self here.

ive gotten tons of e-mails to respond to if i had the time now days, funny is that i learnt my lesson the hardway, so i cant get scammed any more, i know how they work, and im paying pack to the scammers what they earn.... ya ya i know i know i said i was scammed yea i was, i didnt send more than 700 euros but still, the alarm bells did ring to late, it was a date scam enough talk of that, time to hunt some scammers

Hello delphin and welcome to Eater. I am very sorry to hear you were scammed. Here we mostly work on wasting the scammers time. We do have a sister site www.scamwarners.com that would be a great place to seek help. That site has professionals dedicated to helping those who have been scammed.

Hello everyone. So I've been lurking here for a little while (and reading the letters archive on the main 419eater site for many years). I joined because I'm curious to read the original Road to Chad/Darfur thread, and I couldn't find it; I thought being able to search as a registered user might help, but no dice. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, what are some other highlights that I might enjoy reading, that haven't made it to the letters archive page?

Several years ago I used to be actively fighting spam by sending headers to ISPs, including some guy named Tunde who ran an ISP in Nigeria. A few days ago I posted about stupid spammers on another forum and got a reply pointing me to J. Cosmo Newbery's site. After a few days of ROFLing at Tikka Masala's attempt to WUxfer the jewel from her belly button, Senator Gluteus Maximus, racing courgettes or shamrocks in the Milan Eisteddfod, etc., I followed some links and arrived here.

It'll be some months before I have enough time available to bait, but I might bait some lad who sends an email to my real address. I get some romance scam mails, and being much more interested in a real mate than trying to romance scambait, I'll pass them along.

Please read the stickies and bait safe. (do not use your real email and details to bait) but by all means use any scam you get in your personal email but reply from a safe fake address like one from hushmail or gmail.

New member here. Got interested in scambaiting after toying with a Craigslist/PayPal/Nigeria scammer for a week or two and stumbling across this one day. I've been lurking for a few weeks, but I've got another similar one (Craigslist/fake PayPal scam, but ship to a US address instead of Nigeria) ready to go right now, but no idea where to go with it. I've also gotten a second scam try from the same first scammer I toyed with, but again, not sure where to start for maximum impact.

I'm curious how many other females are on 419eater? I'd assume we're in the minority here, but maybe not as much as one might think.

I'm female and I know that there are a lot of other female baiters. Sometimes it's really hard to tell, but you will learn more over time if you stick around. One clue: most of the baiters with sexy female avatars are male... Laughing

Been a while since I've been on here and the system seems to have forgotten my old ID so I made a new one. While I was doing that, the electric power went out for about 30 secs. Maybe a racoon or something nibbled on a wire or a mugu snuck up my pole outback?

In my previous "life" here, I had a ton of fun - tag teaming - with another baiter and actually got a T-shirt from some lads. Spent part of about 6/8 months keepin' those clowns busy, taking pictures, sending us blueprints, having them make signs and brooms, to say the least. Laughing
