Hi all,

In one of my first baits, I seem to have been given bank details.

Where do I report these to in order to have it shut down?

And, perhaps more importantly, how do I claim my first Piggy!

It has to have been a bank account they want you to send money to in order to be real.

As to sending info to Alan, you should read the sticky in the Helps, Hints, and Tips forum.

You claim the piggy after you have sent the account information, headers included, to [email protected]

Then you go edit your profile and add a bit of code that I don't exactly recall right now.

The account is one that you're intended to deposit money into for a payment, correct? If so, you can report it to Alan using the information found here. If it's information the lad sent to you purporting to be an account that holds your millions, then it's fake and not reportable.

To put it in your sig, put

Hmm, it seems to be the latter.

They haven't actually asked me for any money yet.

They might have given you (or will give you) a link so you can 'login' into the 'bank' and 'see' that 'your money' is 'actually there'.

You might want to consider having that site nuked (forward the info to one of the sitekillers, see subforum)
