Nono, not his late mother.
She's just late.. I guess they had an appointment, but she had a footballgame, but there was an extension, so she could not pick the Lad up on the agreed time, so he decided to email Pretty's Darling, just to waste some time.
It all makes perfect sense, when you think about it. |

I read it different.
Whilst trying to lay a football his dad did the nasty with a mummy instead, probably some necrophilia ritual easier with decomposing flesh i guess, as a result he is not a human child, and his name isnt marie, as his mother was a mummy he is quite right, she was late. |
