I uploaded all the images using the 'scammer' watermark. The I clicked on account and there's no images in my account. It seems you have to put the water mark on first, then upload it to your account. I don't get it. Looks like I just wasted more time. Strange. If you are logged in and you upload it should always deposit the file in your account. Where else would it put it?

Thanks Phil. I'll think about it. Right now I'm over it. Too tired to bother again. No hurry. Vlad is pissed off with me (or just weirded out) for asking for full frontal nudity shot to prove he's real. But Vlad is still talking so the silent treatment might be the way forward.

Forget the photos. Vlad just sent another email saying:

'Why you do not answer me? You have decided to not write to me again? You have decided to leave me?'

He sent the previous email saying that the photo thingy was crazy or whatever only 2 hours ago. Very happy. Laughing

Hi again. I got Vlad to send picture of girl with book on head. A minor win! Got Vlad to send description of our first evening. Only a bloke could write that tripe and think it was OK. Unless Russian chicks like to be taken by force! Anyway, NSFW, but not that bad either.

At stage where Vlad has sent name and address and is expecting money to be sent. I'm stuffing around at moment burning time and deciding if I'm going to have an accident or have a trusted other take send money order. Some variant of money goes missing before reaching destination.

I'm assuming it's a fake name. A quick google search brings up nothing. Though I haven't tried with it in Cyrillic. I was expecting something like 'send to Vladimir Putin Moscow as he will be there to get money and pass it onto me'. But Vlad is using firstname of female character and I've had surname revealed for first time. Though I've asked before for that and address. Finally got it. Guess this was time in script for reveal. I've searched the address on google and it appears to be a supermarket. Is there any tools to help me check Vlad's id and address?

I wouldn't worry about checking ID and address, Nev. They are bound to be fake. It's not surprising you got a supermarket.

As for money delaying tactics. Here's something that worked for me. I said unfortunately I was being investigated by the Inland Revenue (or IRS) for tax evasion and they were going to put a freeze on my account which had a lot of dough in it. So I wanted to send the Vlad my money before that happened. Did she have a bank account I could deposit the half the money in? Of course she did. That got me a piggy. Then when she had been back and forth to the bank several times and the money had not appeared, I said the IR must have intercepted the bank transfer. At least I still had half in cash. I was coming to Russia on the next flight. That got me a frustrated Vlad saying where were you at the airport? I came to meet you and you weren't there! Then further frustration at going to or at least phoning my supposed hotel to discover I wasn't there either!

Feel free to cherry-pick any of that.

There's some good stuff there Phil. I can't see how to fit it into my story unless I reveal that the last 3 weeks of me crying poor and having to beg for the money Vlad wants was a lie. However, I do have a second character talking to Vlad that might use some of that.

[EDIT] I wonder how much one can get away with. I feel constrained to make character fairly consistent with previous behaviour. I guess it's something n00bs need to learn.

you might suggest that you won a small lottery and decided to come visit her with the money. maybe she can find you an apartment to rent for a month. have her send you photos of the apartment with her standing in the middle of the room. you'll really get to know her then when you visit and you can go to nice places to eat and tour her city with her. had worked for me. Twisted Evil
